CASE: 37mm, 18K yellow gold, double step bezel, sapphire crystal on the front & on the back

MOVEMENT: Caliber 5030 (Valjoux 23 base), manual wind, skeletonized, yellow color, 17 jewels

BRACELET: AP black alligator strap with Audemars Piguet 18k ardillon buckle.

CONDITION REPORT: Worn, excellent condition, the case is unpolished with some marks and scuffs, all hallmarks and numbers are visible.

The elusive reference 25563 was produced from 1981 to 1993. According to the Audemars Piguet Museum, it is estimated that only 67 pieces of the reference were produced in total across all metals. 56 we made in yellow gold, 10 in pink gold and 1 in platinum. Although less were made in pink gold, this is the first yellow gold example we have ever handled. The platinum example sold at Christie's in November 2024 for CHF 151,200.
