Released by Audemars Piguet in 1991 as a limited edition of 2,000 watches, the Royal Oak 56175TT commemorates Sir Nick Faldo's second Masters Tournament victory, achieved the previous year in 1990. The engraved case back marks this milestone, while the watch itself stands out for its distinctive bi-metal construction combining tantalum and stainless steel.
Like other variants of the ref. 56175, the TT model is powered by the ultra-thin quartz calibre 2612, measuring just 1.9mm in height. This movement is housed within an elegant case approximately 5.8mm thick and 33mm in diameter, giving the watch its notably slim profile.
