CONDITION REPORT: Excellent overall condition, unpolished with signs of wear throughout, dial is mint. Overall spectacular example with signs of wear on the case and buckle.

NOTES: The Tank Américaine, a notable addition to Cartier's iconic designs, stands out despite its relatively recent creation in 1989. Inspired by the Tank Cintrée, it features a curvaceous case and elongated Roman numerals on its dial, reminiscent of the 1920s aesthetic. Unlike its predecessors, the Tank Américaine boasts bolder dimensions, reflecting the trend towards larger watches. Although it has undergone tweaks over the years and has been offered with various movements, including quartz, manual, and automatic, its fundamental shape has remained consistent. Initially released with quartz movements, the Tank Américaine came in two references, one featuring small seconds and a date window, while the other included a pointer date and moonphase complications, both available in yellow and white gold.
