DIAL: Black matte "Rail Dial" dial with luminous triangle, dots and rectangle hour markers.
Date aperture at 3 o’clock. ‘Mercedes’ hands with central sweep seconds.
Sea-Dweller Submariner 2000 printed in white on the dial.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, 2000ft=610m, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified and T SWISS T < 25 indicated on the dial.

CASE: 40mm, Stainless Steel, Black rotating 60-min diver bezel, helium escape valve.

MOVEMENT: Caliber 1570, Self-winding mechanical movement with 26 jewels

BRACELET: Rolex stainless steel fliplock bracelet 93150/585 Date Code VC

CONDITION REPORT: The dial is original and in excellent shape with stunning patina of the indexes. The case appears unpolished, the insert is correct and in excellent condition, overall stunning example.

NOTES: The Sea Dweller MK2 "Rail Dial" are quiet rare and were made at the same time as the COMEX dials by Stern. They were produced for 2 years (1977 to 1979) and are mostly in the 5 million serial range.
The distinctive features of this dial are that the SCOC text is aligned in the center and the minutes markers are longer.
This is the only version of the 1665 Sea Dwellers that is marked "T SWISS T < 25" at the bottom.
