The caseback is engraved 'Bill Collins 1-1-86' matching the sales date on the papers of December 31, 1985. Hands are silver and not the usual black, but watch came this way and are original tritium from time period so we left as found.

NOTES: This watch comes complete with its outer box (16030 ref), box, stamped punched papers (Bermuda), wallet and 1986 calendar.

We purchased this Buckley Datejust from John Buckley himself. Not sure if that adds provenance, but we were glad it came from him. The nickname Buckley comes from the New Jersey watch dealer John Buckley who famously kept aside a lot of these dials for years.

The white Roman "Buckley" dial is one of the rarer configurations for a quickset 16030 and especially in this condition.
