BRACELET: Omega stainless steel bracelet 7912/6 dated 4.62

CONDITION REPORT: Overall stunning condition with an extremely rare discoloration of the bezel from black to a dark green. The dial retains its original radium lume, which has aged to a nice amber color. The case is in excellent condition and appears unpolished.

Notes: Thus far, the phenomenon of these 'Green Bezel' has been observed on 2998-4 to 2998-6 and very few have have surfaced. These similar examples all had the same hand configuration and serial range 18,419,xxx to 18,645,xxx corresponding to last 2998-4, the full range of 2998-5 and earliest 2998-6.
According to the Omega archives this watch was manufactured January 17, 1962 and delivered to Japan.
