Zodiac vintage Sea Wolf diving watch with quickset date, orange and black dial, original zodiac metal link bracelet, Circa 1960’s

MOVEMENT:
70-72, Automatic with Date, 17 Jewels Movement

DIAL:
Black Dial with orange exterior minutes scale, luminous hour markers and date aperture, ZODIAC, logo, Sea Wolf, Automatic, SWISS and T 25 printed on the dial.

CASE:
35.5mm, Stainless Steel with silver and orange bi-directional rotating bakelite bezel and straight lugs, crown with Zodiac logo, screw-down case-back, plastic crystal.
Case back engraved: Zodiac Sea Wolf 20 atm especially water tested

BRACELET:
Original stainless steel Zodiac signed link bracelet & Orange nylon NATO Strap

NOTES:
The founder of Zodiac, Ariste Calame, began his watchmaking workshop in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1882. Lois, his son, took over in 1895 and Zodiac was officially registered as a trademark in 1904.
The Sea Wolf, a diver’s watch, was launched in 1953 at the same time Rolex was developing its diving watch, the Submariner, which was launched in 1954. The Sea Wolf was one of the first professional grade diver's watches that was manufactured in large quantities and marketed towards the masses.
