NOTES: The Italian Military ordered their military timepieces from prestigious Swiss watchmakers like Breitling, Leonidas, Rolex (Panerai), Universal Genève, and Zenith. The Cairelli was named after the Roman retailer A. Cairelli, who used to supply these Zenith military watches to the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana). Therefore the AMI engraving on the caseback. Additionally, CP2 engraved on the case back signifies "Cronometro da Polso 2" being the second generation of chronograph ordered by the military in 43mm.
A few of these were not issued to the military and do not have the MM serial number.
