Tudor Submariner*** 7928 PCG Exclamation*** 1962
TUDOR Submariner, Ref. 7928 Pointy Crown Guard, Gilt Exclamation Point Dial, Circa 1962
Serial: 380082
Circa: 1962
Reference: 7928

DIAL: Black dial with chapter ring and gilt printing, radium mix luminous hour markers with exclamation point at 6 o'clock.

CASE: 40mm, strainless steel case with black rotating diver bezel, acrylic crystal.
Inner back dated III.62

MOVEMENT: Fleurier FEF Cal. T 390, Self-winding mechanical, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Rolex USA Jubilee bracelet dated 9-70

CONDITION REPORT: Excellent original condition. Dial and hands are stunning and all radium mix luminous material is intact (Geigers at 15 at UV is correct). The case is worn, but bevels are visible and appears to never have been polished. Caseback is crisp with signs of wear. The domed acrylic crystal is a TrueDome D19 replacement. The original Long 5 bezel insert has faded to a nice grey color and is original, but the original pearl is partially broken.
The USA jubilee bracelet was likely added on later by the owner. The back of the lugs bear no marks of a previous bracelet fitted on this watch so the watch was probably delivered to the US without a metal bracelet.
The movement bears the US import code ROW matching the bracelet.
