NOTES: According the the Omega Museum the present example was manufactured in 1983 and delivered to Germany. This is a very rare gold and steel 861 caliber Speedmaster and the first gold/steel Speedmaster produced from 1983 to 1986 and not limited or made for a specific market. It is not known how many were made, but very few have been observed by the Museum, Moonwatch Only and ourselves.
Following the nickname of the gold & steel Holy Grail as the 'Liberace Grail', we observed this nickname had spread to all 1980's Speedmasters in gold & steel including this one.
