The CK2998, launched in 1959, was the successor to the CK2915 and differed in that it had alpha hands instead of the broad arrow and the black bezel insert. It is an ultra-rare original reference that was chronologically manufactured from 1 to 6. Although some were produced out of order or simultaneously. The CK2915 was the first Speedmaster, then CK2998 and afterwards the 6 digit references starting in 1962 (105.002, 105.003, etc.). Essentially, the CK2998-4, -5, -6, -61 and -62 were the last production years of the CK models.
