CASE: 42mm Stainless Steel, lyre lug moonwatch case, acrylic crystal, black telemeter bezel & screw back with hippocampus logo

DIAL: Black (tropical dark brown) matte "step" dial with tritium hour markers

MOVEMENT: Caliber 861, hand wound mechanical chronograph, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Omega stainless steel 1039/516, dated 4.69

CONDITION REPORT: The dial has turned to dark brown 'tropical' over time and the luminous material is intact. The hands are original and the tritium is intact. The Telemeter is original and in excellent condition. The caseback appears to have been circular satin finished at some point,

NOTES: The present watch was featured in the Moonwatch Only book (Pages 296-297 of revised 2017 edition). It is fitted with an original and rare vintage telemeter bezel, which was an option on Speedmasters during the 1960's.

According to the Omega Museum this watch was manufactured July 8, 1970 and delivered to South Africa.
