This watch comes complete with archives extract confirming delivery to Switzerland in April 1964.
In 1964, the first ever Speedmaster ‘Professional’ cases were delivered by Omega. The 105.012-63 case reference is therefore the first asymmetrical lyre lug case Speedmaster. This also coincided with a change in legislation requiring manufacturers to place the T indication on the dial to indicate the presence of tritium in the luminous indexes. At that time several dials had already been produced without the T markings and were added on later. They were therefore unevenly printed and offset to the right and are so-called the ‘asymmetrical T’ dials.
