Serial: 16038290
Circa: 1958
Reference: CK 2913-3

CASE: 39mm, Stainless Steel with black rotating bi-directional 60min "Reverse Countdown" bezel, straight lugs, back engraved with Seamaster logo and the words “Certified High Pressure Waterproof”

MOVEMENT: Omega Cal. 500, self-winding mechanical, 17 jewels

DIAL: Black with triangular radium hour markers. Broad Arrow metallic hour/minutes hands and straight seconds hand (painted red).

BRACELET: Leather strap

CONDITION REPORT: The dial and Broad Arrow hands are original with beautifully aged radium (UV & Geiger confirmed). The central seconds hand is the original one and was painted red by the original owner for better visibility. We left it as we found it. The orignal reverse countdown bakelite bezel is very nice with only couple little chips at 55 hash & below the 10, but original and not a refurbished one. The original and rare mercedes crown is fitted on the watch. The case appears to have been polished, but the seahorse on the back is still clearly visible with all text as well and some opening tool marks.

NOTES: This rare watch was delivered to USA and bears the caliber 500, 17 jewels, with OXG import stamp specially made and delivered to the US.

The Seamaster 300 was launched by Omega in 1957 along with the Speedmaster and Railmaster. Known as the "Holy Trinity" or "Trilogy" these first references are extremely rare and highly collectible.
