NOTES:
This is a highly collectible & sought after British Military watch. In 1953, Omega fulfilled a one year order from the British Royal Air Force, a limited number of approximately 5000 pieces were produced for pilots & officers. The watch was ordered to be both antimagnetic contain a chronometer movement. The movement is cased in soft metal to prevent magnetism from the aircraft instruments that may have affected its performance during military operations. This is an original thin arrow dial made by Omega, not MOD dial, and was in fact replaced as radium dials and hands were all recalled in the 1960's.
The case back on these pieces were engraved with specific numbers:
6645-101000 = NATO code
6B/542 = Aircrew Issue
1441/53 = Location issued & year of order
