DESCRIPTION: New Old Stock Breitling Long Playing Chronograph with date, never worn, from the 1970’s

MOVEMENT: Valjoux 7740, hand-wound mechanical chronograph movement, 17 jewels

DIAL: Naturally aged ‘tropical’ Black Dial in mint condition with luminous baton markers and three black registers. Date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. BREITLING GENEVE, and T SWISS MADE T printed on the dial, untouched. Original white hours and minutes hands with luminous center. Orange center chronograph sweep seconds, orange hours chrono hand and white minutes chrono and subsidiary seconds hands.

CASE: 40mm, stainless steel snap-back tonneau case, with round pump pushers and original Breitling crown.

STRAP: Nylon NATO strap


NOTES: "Long Playing" refers to the extraordinary length of the mainspring with a longer power reserve from a single wind than any other model at that time.
- This particular piece is in new old stock condition with the original factory sales sticker as well as the purple factory seal varnish on the back and is a great collector or daily wear watch. It is believed these watches remained in the factory during its repurchase in the 80s and were left untouched in the archives for almost 40 years.
