NOTES: Voit was an American sporting goods store that was bought by AMF in 1957. This watch was sold by the sporting goods store and made by the Swiss watchmaker Schild & Co for them. AMF is well known in the US and historically one of the most diverse manufacturers. From bowling equipment to nuclear reactors, they were the largest consumer goods manufacturer in the US until the mid-1980's and even owned Harley-Davidson for a time.
